Fall booking is the absolute craziest time of year. We appreciate all of your questions, comments, and concerns, and most of what we get asked is readily available on our website at all times! Please click around here to find what you may be looking for! To scheudle a session, head over to the book now page of our website. These are for FULL sessions only, not minis. Minis will be posted a few days following the initial booking release.
Please understand that we work our absolute hardest in the Fall to accommodate all of our incredible clients! We love what we do and are so appreciative of your constant loyalty and support of our business!
Pricing
First thing’s first: All session prices are here on the website under each investment tab!! This is our most frequently asked question, and it’s never a secret. Click above to find the session type you’re looking for, and all the info is there!
When selecting a date & time, you MUST pay via credit card for the deposit (20% of your total)! This is the only way to ensure you have this time slot. Paying with venmo or zelle will not complete your booking, and that time slot will remain available for other clients! Please allow 24-48 hours to receive your official booking e-mail from us, but THIS is your spot! The remainder of your session fee will be due 7 days prior to your session.
Weather + Locations
The earliest morning spot, and the latest evening spot will be the absolute best for lighting (assuming it is a sunny day). In the event of an overcast day, please allow a few hours of buffer for your session, as times may need to be adjusted on the day of, 30-60 minutes forward or backward. Your flexibility on the day of your session is greatly appreciated.
In the Fall, morning sessions will be the coldest, please keep this in mind when choosing a date and time, and also when dressing your family. We strongly suggest putting leggings under pants, dresses, and skirts, and long sleeves under your tops. It is also not a bad idea to have cute hats and gloves on deck in case you do get an extra chilly day!!
City of Chicago clients: If you want your session to take place in or around the city, you need to make us aware of this before booking.
All rescheduled sessions take place onweekdays. Weather is the only allowed reason for a reschedule. (Refer to my contract for more).
No specific weather is guaranteed, we are human and unfortunately cannot predict the weather, the colors of the leaves, or anything of the like. Please understand this, and bear with us this Fall. :) From past experience, the colors typically begin to change around mid October. That being said, unless you are new to the mid-west, you know that anything can happen as far as the weather goes.
A location guide will be provided in your booking portal. Please take a look at it and let us know as soon as possible what location you’d like, and we’ll do our best to accommodate! If you have a specific location in mind, and prefer not to budge on it, please make us aware of this before booking, or as soon as possible. We open up 2 morning and 2 evening sessions back to back for every day that we’re available for October & November. This means that each morning and each evening session will take place in the same location, since we can't be in two places at once. (We wish we could!) We do our absolute best to choose a location appropriately close to both clients.
Please read our contract that is sent along with your official booking e-mail. Any questions you may possibly have about rescheduling for weather, locations, payments, etc. will all be in there! If you prefer to receive a copy of the contract prior to booking, we are happy to send you one!
Package Details
Turn around time for finished galleries is 3-5 weeks from the session.
If you would like to take advantage of our free styling tool, the instructions for that will be in your session questionnaire in your portal! It is completely optional, and there to help you as much or as little as you want. We also offer a free client closet, which will also be in your portal!
If you want to include extended family in your session, it is an additional $50/person outside of your immediate family (parent 1 and/or parent 2, and children are our definition of immediate family). This is a great way to split the cost of a session with your siblings and everyone will get their own family photos as well as group photos. ;) Just sayin’
Minis
Mini sessions will be released a few days after August 18th once Full sessions have filled in, and periodically throughout the season. If you’re interested in a mini session please subscribe to emails, follow us on Instagram, or continue to check the booking page!
Holiday studio minis will be back this year! They’ll take place in November, and the best way to stay updated on info about these will be on Instagram and in e-mails!
